In 1990, Dr. Vincenzo Gambino began specializing in hair transplantation with the Elliott-Thomas Medical Group in New York City.
A member of multiple internationally accredited medical organizations, Dr. Gambino is Immediate Past President of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgeons (ISHRS).
He is a past president and on the governing board of the Italian Society for Hair Restoration (ISHR) and is currently serving a three year term as president of the Italian Society of Trichology ( S.I.Tri.).
He was the first doctor in Italy to perform head-to-pubic-area transplantation, and he most recently pioneered chest-to-head-hair transplantation in Italy. He is also the first in Italy to use Low Level Laser Therapy in the treatment of hair loss.
